Film star Zsa Zsa Gabor going home after breaking hip

SCREEN legend Zsa Zsa Gabor is set to return home this week about three weeks after the 93-year-old actress was hospitalised with a broken hip.

Gabor's publicist, John Blanchette, said that she would spend the rest of this week receiving physical therapy.

Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, told Blanchette that the actress was joking with nurses but that she appeared depressed. He hoped the return home would restore her spirits.

Blanchette says Gabor broke her hip on 17 July after her wheelchair tipped over.

The Hungarian-born actress' condition began to deteriorate after hip-replacement surgery days later. Blanchette says von Anhalt bought the actress a $25,000 hospital bed and was arranging for home care for her return.
