One of Scotland's oldest cars
The car is regularly driven and is in the London to Brighton run each year. Might any of your readers know anything of the car's early history, or owners, or have photos,as it would have been a rare sight at that time? Would anybody know whether J.R.Findlay of Drumsheugh Gardens was related to John Ritchie Findlay owner of the Scotsman Newspaper and a famed Edinburgh philanthropist? The car was in Edinburgh until found in Croals Garage in 1946 and I would dearly like to learn anything of its early life as it represents an important part of the history of early motoring. Photos of the car may be seen on the V.C.C. site LBVCR.com-2009 entrant 478."
