T in the Park review: Twilight Singers

Red Bull Stage, Saturday

WITH more than twenty years in the business, Greg Dulli really must have seen it all.

But an audience the barely brushes three figures at its peak for the Balado perfomance of the Twilight Singers must still be a real slap in the face.

One of the braver international bookings, such numbers are unlikely to encourage DF Concerts to bring their likes back again, but with a terrific new album Dynamite Steps doing the rounds, Dulli and co ensure that the tiny crowd get exactly what they came for - lived-in, bluesy American rawk of the highest quality.

Dynamite Steps dominates, but Bonnie Brae gets blasted out which feels rather appropriate.
