V&A Dundee construction to begin in August
NEW images of the design for the futuristic building to house the Dundee outpost of the Victoria & Albert Museum have been released, with construction due to begin in eight months’ time.
The striking £45 million gallery, scheduled to open in early 2017, is expected to be a major tourist attraction.
The consortium behind the venture believe it will have the same impact on Dundee as the arrival of the Guggenheim Museum had on the industrialised Spanish city of Bilbao.
