Amor clinches NHS deal No.2

INCHINNAN-based Amor Group has signed a £150,000 deal with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, the IT firm's second health sector contract in as many months.

The deal, which will be delivered in conjunction with Edinburgh-based partner ExtraMed, is designed to cut patient waiting times and help hospitals run more efficiently. It comes on the back of a contract to design a clinical records system at Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank.

Amor was formed by chief executive John Innes in 2009 following a 28 million management buyout from French software firm, Sword.
