Myners becomes research firm chairman

FORMER City minister Lord Myners has been hired by Autonomous Research as chairman.

Autonomous - which provides equity and credit research on banks and insurers to institutional investors - said Myners will also become a partner in the company, which is run as a limited liability partnership.

Founder Stuart Graham said: "Lord Myner's long-standing belief in our industry and extensive business career will be an enormous asset to us as we continue to grow in Europe and expand into Asia and the US."
