Page sees UK growth as 'modest'
Recruitment firm Michael Page International expects "modest growth" in the UK in the short term but the outlook for Asia and Latin America remains strong while Europe continues to improve.
Second-quarter gross profits of 147.8 million - up 32.4 per cent on a year ago - were ahead of expectations but investment means full-year profits will be in line with market estimates, the firm said yesterday.
