Surgeon who cut out bladder found guilty
A SURGEON who mistakenly removed 90 per cent of a baby girl's bladder in a "catastrophic" operation has been found guilty of misconduct.
The actions of Pierina Kapur, 43, went beyond mere negligence, a disciplinary panel in Manchester ruled yesterday. Ms Kapur could be struck off.
The child will have to use a catheter for the rest of her life.
