The man who carved the original cuckoo for the Princes Street Gardens floral clock in 1953 was joined by Edinburgh's Lord Provost at a special ceremony.
George Robertson, 80, of Craigentinny Avenue, took part in celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the One o'Clock Gun and to unveil this year's floral tribute to the charity Action for the Hearing.
