Couples return to scene of their weddings for dinner

THREE married couples who tied the knot at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh are to make a return to the venue for a Valentine's dinner.

Another two couples preparing to take their vows later this year will also be hosted at the John Hope Gateway Centre.

Paul Mitchell, operations manager at the Gateway Centre for caterers Sodexo Prestige Scotland, said: "The Botanics is a wonderfully romantic place and couples who have been married here retain a very special attachment to the place.

"We are delighted to welcome back some of the couples who married here in the past as well as those who are looking forward to their special day later this year."

Dinner packages this year include a glass of sparkling wine with strawberries dipped in chocolate on arrival and a four-course dinner.
