Cuts protesters stage Scotland Office sit-in
After meeting at Haymarket train station and marching to the building in Melville Crescent, seven protesters made their way inside, holding banners that read "tax the rich, save public services". They were denied access to Scottish Secretary Michael Moore.
Citizens United leader Sean Clerkin said: "We are protesting because we want these cuts to stop. People in working class areas have been abandoned."
Mr Clerkin led the protest that drove Labour's Iain Gray from Central Station in Glasgow during the election campaign.
