Devine formally declared bankrupt
Former MP Jim Devine was formally declared bankrupt following a court hearing yesterday.
The ex-Labour MP for Livingston is awaiting sentence after a jury found him guilty this month of fiddling his parliamentary expenses.
The request for sequestration - or bankruptcy - was granted at Livingston Sheriff Court.
