Disabled bay parking gets new rules
The changes will mean anyone parking in a designated on-street disabled bay who does not have a valid Blue Badge could be hit with a fine of £60.
In the coming months, the regulations will also extend to disabled parking bays in the car parks of all buildings owned by Midlothian Council, such as libraries and leisure centres.
Only bays marked on the road are enforceable.
