Enterprising pupils hailed

LIBERTON High School came out as the winner of a national enterprise competition.

Pupils took part in the Changeworks Make Waste History Summit 2011, which took place at Edinburgh Napier University, and successfully pitched their enterprising idea to reduce plastic bottles in school.

The winning team was Ellie McCallum, Emily Robertson, Claire Bunting, Rowan Moran and Tyler Wilson.

Teacher Fiona Lundius said: "If they can go back with the enthusiasm and the ideas they can only benefit the school."
