Gangland murder trial reaches court
Ross Monaghan, 30, denies murdering Mr Carroll at the Asda car park in Robroyston, Glasgow, on 13 January, 2010.
It is alleged that while masked and acting with others, Monaghan murdered 29-year-old Mr Carroll by repeatedly shooting him in the head and body.

Hide AdMonaghan is accused of attempting to defeat the ends of justice by disposing of a revolver, pistol and ammunition within undergrowth in Coatbridge and Airdrie, both Lanarkshire
It is also alleged a car bearing false number plates was set on fire. Monaghan also faces a number of firearms charges.
He denies all the charges against him at the High Court in Glasgow and has lodged a special defence of incrimination blaming Mr X, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
The trial, before Lord Brailsford, continues. The case is expected to last four weeks.
