Gorgie City Farm visitors muck in for Earth Day event

CHILDREN and families from across the Capital got their hands dirty at Gorgie City Farm today to celebrate World Earth Day.

The celebrations, aimed at raising awareness about climate change, were run by young people from Mercy Corps' Global Citizens Corps programme and included free mud cake, dirt-themed farm and garden trails, as well as a screening of the film Dirt!.

The film, provided by Take One Action film festival, showed people around the world building stronger communities and fighting climate change.
