Health fears over chicken in a burn
A dog walker spotted the dead birds floating in the water near Lybster, Caithness on Monday afternoon and contacted the Scottish SPCA.
The animal charity is asking anyone with information about the sickening find to come forward.

Hide AdThe Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) has been alerted to the incident due to immediate water pollution concerns. The carcasses have been removed and disposed of appropriately by Sepa and Highland Council.
Senior SSPCA inspector Audrey Gunn said: “We do not know whether the chickens have come from a private or commercial source.”
