Kelso motorist killed after car crash in field
A MOTORIST was killed yesterday when his car crashed into a field in the early hours of the morning.
The 27-year-old, from the Kelso area of the Borders, was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at about 2:30am.
Lothian and Borders Police said he had been driving south in a Volkswagen Polo on the A698 near Crailing when the car left the road.
There were no passengers in the car and the road was closed for a number of hours while police completed their investigations.
