Livingston woman wins Meek award
The award recognises students who have demonstrated commitment to adult learning. It is named after the late Tom Meek, a volunteer with West Lothian Council's Adult Basic Education (ABE) service.
When Tom passed away, his family created the awards event, for which there were 10 nominations this year.

She attends a lip-reading group, and ABE's Coping with Deafness course with her husband, which helped him to understand her disability.
