Lulu shouts about beauty

FANS of Scottish singing star Lulu packed into Waterstone's yesterday for a chance to meet their idol.

The singer was signing copies of her new book, Lulu's Secrets To Looking Good at Waterstone's Edinburgh West End branch.

Born in Glasgow, she went on to become a pop star and a fashion icon, and has now set down some of her top beauty tips.

After five decades in the music business, she is more aware than most of the image issues and challenges that women often face.

The book covers the day-to-day fashion and beauty tricks she's picked up over the years to ensure she always looks and feels her best.

And she was more than happy to share a few personal tips with some of her many fans in the Capital.
