Make a heroic effort for charity's Capital fun runs

CHARITY superhero "Macmillan Man" - aka C.J Osazuwa, a 6ft 5 rugby player for Heriots Rugby Club - was getting local comedians Garry Dobson and Stu Murphy to launch a fundraising challenge ahead of the city's half marathon.

Osazuwa sported green lycra, a cape and mask as he put the comedy duo through runs, lunges and press ups to highlight Macmillan Cancer Support's call for Scots to take on a fundraising run in Edinburgh this spring.

Macmillan wants hundreds of people to take on the Edinburgh Half Marathon on April 10, the Edinburgh Kilomathon on April 17 or Edinburgh Marathon on May 22.

Comedian Garry said: "I would encourage anyone who is fit enough to take on one of these running challenges to sign up to run for Macmillan."
