New homes plan ticked
A DEVELOPER has received the green light from council chiefs to create 100 homes.
Perth-based Mansell Partnership Homes put forward plans to build 84 houses and 16 flats on land at Muirpark Drive/Haddington Road in Tranent.
Landscaping work is also set to be carried out at the nearly four hectare site, which is currently listed as agricultural land.
The proposals, which were first submitted in July last year, were given planning permission by East Lothian Council.
