Fit for work
In our family one grandchild is completing a five-year chemical engineering course at Edinburgh University and the other has just completed a three-year plumbing apprenticeship at Inverness College.
Both are highly regarded by their parents and grandparents.

Hide AdThe university student will work in Glasgow in September and the plumbing apprentice is working with a time-served senior plumber at an oil terminal in Shetland.
These two diverse career paths are both equally as important if our country is to compete for work in a highly competitive world.
