Honest dialogue
I would rather put it that people with religious and/or philosphical beliefs (ie everyone) should accept that the laws of logic apply equally in this realm.
There is no point trying to pretend that my beliefs that Mohammed was not a prophet and that reincarnation does not in fact occur amount to anything less than my personal repudiation of Islam and Buddhism. The pluralist’s error is usually to regard good interfaith relations as contingent on woolly thinking that makes a taboo of pointing out contradictions.
Better relationships are forged by open honest dialogue and debate.
