Letter: 'ABE' red card
After watching the England cricket team playing Scotland (on Saturday), I was struck, not just by their professionalism but also by their obvious team spirit.
They and their management team smile and joke among themselves and clearly enjoy each other's company. Regrettably, the English football team and their management appear quite the opposite, looking serious, tense, nervous, never smiling with no hint of a united or a happy team.
With elimination from the World Cup threatened, the footballers and their management could do worse than follow the example of their successful cricket counterparts.
