Letter: Osprey is not part of kestrels' plight
YOUR article on 17 October on the plight of the kestrel was very welcome and hopefully will create awareness of the situation. However, I would like to point out an important error.
I was quoted as saying that the osprey was involved. While the recovery of some raptor species could possibly be one of a number of contributing factors affecting the decline, the osprey is no threat as it feeds almost exclusively on fish.
