Rich have rights
Brian Wilson (Perspective, 19 September) says he “asked SNP supporters to name a single measure implemented since 2007 which has resulted in wealth being transferred from rich to poor”.
They should ask him: “By what right do you redistribute from those who have earned money to those you think should have it?”
Mr Wilson’s question demonstrates all that is wrong with the political class as they all assume they have the right to expropriate as they see fit and that the individual has no right to keep his or her own money.
