Sorry not enough

What on earth is the world coming to when a woman, who has been misdiagnosed for over a year with tumours, and now has been told that she has only a month to live, is told by NHS Greater Clyde and Glasgow: “We are very sorry that this patient’s experience has not been satisfactory” (your report, 19 February)?

Compassion, it appears, has died within the NHS. This is shocking and all decent, right-minded people in Scotland should be up in arms about this.
