Speed decoy
It IS interesting that so many people are getting angry about the City of Edinburgh Council plan to impose a 20mph speed limit (Letters, 9 and 10 January) .
It’s almost as though the council deliberately rolled out this controversial mini-policy as a decoy to detract attention from the much more serious examples of our tax money being wasted.
The speed limit won’t make a huge difference to the way the traffic runs.
It’s just an easy thing to get riled over.
