Pain relief option
CHARITIES campaigning for improved pain relief have welcomed the approval of a new drug.
The Scottish Medicines Consortium has accepted Palexia, which releases the analgesic tapentadol over a prolonged period.Edinburgh-based Pain Concern said: "To have another option is good news for doctors and patients."
