UK Government reminds Scots that they may be entitled to Cold Weather Payments
Those who receive Pension Credit, Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Universal Credit or Support for Mortgage Interest may be eligible for Cold Weather Payments which total £25 for each seven days of actual or forecast temperatures below freezing in your area starting from November 1 until March 31 2021.
Eligibility for the payment can be checked on the gov.uk website while an online checker can assist in letting you know if your area is due a payment.
