Photographer Aly will put the focus on social enterprise

A TALENTED photographer has scooped a £1800 bursary after winning a nationwide competition.

Edinburgh's Aly Wight, 29, came out top in the annual Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition photographic contest sponsored by Unity Trust Bank.

Mr Wight, an honours graduate in fine art and sculpture from Gray's School of Art with an HNC in photography, said: "I see the bursary as an opportunity for me to learn more about the impressive work of social enterprises across Scotland and to communicate observations in a creative and original way."

He will produce a digital gallery of images for the Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition, which will be displayed at the Scottish Parliament in early 2011.
