Following the news that Scotland had voted No to independence, we talked to people on the streets of the country’s capital, Edinburgh, for reaction.

Some welcomed the promise of new powers while others felt it was best that the United Kingdom stayed together.

The campaign to keep Scotland in the UK polled 55 per cent of the vote while the pro-independence campaign received 45 per cent.
