Skills boost for NHS staff
A SCHEME has been launched to help Lothians health workers boost their own career options through education.
The Clinical Academic Research Careers initiative is aimed at improving the skills of nurses, midwives and other allied health professionals.
Nurse director Melanie Hornett said: "This new career scheme will provide them with the opportunity for personal development and to have greater influence over developing improvements in patient care."
