Thanks given for cancer find
THE Edinburgh and Lothian Prostate Cancer Support Group has thanked experts at Edinburgh's Queen's Medical Research Institute for their support following a breakthrough.
Researchers, led by Dr Axel Thomson, discovered genes that play a role in controlling the development of the disease.
Spokesman Larry Foster said: "We are enormously encouraged by this research which we feel is essential to the future development of effective drug research."
