Three face fire charges
POLICE have arrested and charged three men in connection with an alleged wilful fire-raising which destroyed an unoccupied building.
The incident took place just after 1am on Tuesday in Steele Avenue, Mayfield, Midlothian. No-one was injured, but police said there was a "real possibility" the fire could have spread to a neighbouring property.
Three men, aged 18, 19 and 21, were set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to face the charges.
