Road safety summit after cyclist killed
THE transport minister is to hold talks on road safety following the death of a 40-year-old cyclist in Edinburgh.
Keith Brown will attend the Road Safety Operational Partnership Group on 21 March. He said the government was looking closely at the issue, two days after cyclist Bryan Simons was killed in a collision with a taxi on Corstorphine Road during rush hour.
