Trio charged over stabbing

THREE men have appeared in court charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man who was stabbed in a flat in Craigentinny.

The men, aged 29, 30 and 37, were arrested and charged on Friday, and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.

The trio were also charged in connection with a serious assault on a 43-year-old woman who also was attacked in the Craigentinny Road home on Wednesday, July 14.

The 39-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds to his stomach and legs. He was found at Craigentinny Golf Course.
