Animal charity calls for primate pet ban
THE RSPCA has renewed its call for a ban on keeping primates as pets.
It follows the launch of a new set of government guidelines on the care of the animals, published last month. RSPCA wildlife scientist Dr Ros Clubb said primates are intelligent, complex wild animals that can suffer in captivity.
