Everything's up in the air as TV ice show skates to finale

AFTER almost three months of scrapes, tumbles and tears, three finalists tonight vie to be ITV's Dancing on Ice victor.

The finale will be a battle of the soap stars as the fifth series of the ice-dancing contest ends, with each contestant enduring a nail-biting routine in the air.

Ex-Emmerdale star and bookies' favourite Hayley Tamaddon, Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson and former Bill heartthrob Gary Lucy have survived the 11-week contest.

After one couple is eliminated, the final two will perform the Ravel's Bolero routine which catapulted Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean to Olympic glory in 1984.

Torvill and Dean will then perform an aerial version of their routine.
