The singer, starring as a coach on the BBC talent show The Voice, meets another fan tonight, when would-be star Chris Grixti tells him he believes he was conceived to What’s New Pussycat.
Sir Tom said: “People have said that to me a few times, that children have been conceived while my music has been played.

Hide Ad“But I think one of my biggest compliments that I had was when Catherine Zeta-Jones was giving birth to her first child: she had to have What’s New Pussycat on the radio, so as soon as she started to have to push, she said: ‘Put Tom on and I’ll push’.”
Another of the contenders on tonight’s show is one of Amy Winehouse’s best friends. Tyler James, 30, from London, performs Otis Redding’s classic, (Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay.
