TV spin–off breaks box office record
THE film version of TV hit The Inbetweeners has seen the biggest ever opening weekend for a UK comedy, taking in more than £13 million. The previous leader was Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason.
The spin-off from the E4 show sees regulars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison heading off on their first “lads’ holiday”.
