Scotland hour-by-hour weekend weather forecast: here’s when heavy rain will hit in the west as Met Office issues warning

Parts of Scotland are set to be hit with wet weather this weekend, and a Met Office yellow weather warning for rain currently in place

Periods of heavy rain are expected to affect southern, central and western Scotland over the weekend, with a risk of flooding.

The Met Office said, “There is the potential for some very unsettled weather through the coming weekend, especially across southern, central and western Scotland with periods of heavy rain expected through Saturday and, after a respite overnight, Sunday. The rain will fall onto already saturated ground increasing the risk of flooding.”
