Widow leaves more than £2m to animal charities
Nadia Moulton-Barrett, 90, of House of Glennie, near Huntly in Aberdeenshire, died in January, leaving around 6.75 million to friends, employees and good causes. She was the widow of Colonel Ronald Moulton-Barrett, the grandson of the youngest brother of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, the celebrated Victorian poet.
Mrs Moulton-Barrett has bequeathed around 2.25m of her estate to a number of charities, including Guide Dogs for the Blind, the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals, and the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Hide AdMike Flynn, the SSPCA's chief superintendent, said: ""We are always extremely grateful when people remember us in their will. We rely entirely on the generosity of the Scottish public."
Mrs Moulton-Barrett died in Majorca after a short illness.
