Edinburgh firm makes point with 300% sales surge
Intelligent Point of Sale, whose cloud-based application allows bars, restaurants and clubs to control and track sales and stock in real time, said turnover had broken through £1 million in only its second full year of trading, as client numbers more than doubled to 1,000 in the past ten months.
Among an array of new clients, the firm has signed “significant deals” over the past year with events companies Underbelly and N2O. Its low-cost, electronic point-of-sale system is said to have found a “particularly thriving market” with pop-up and festival operators.
