Basketball: Copeland coping well with new role
Glasgow Rocks forward Mike Copeland has admitted he's praying for coach Sterling Davis to end his search for a big man so he can revert back to his natural position.
The American will fill in at centre again in today's BBL clash against Guildford Heat at the Kelvin Hall following the untimely exits of both Kieron Achara and Hugh Barnett.
However, Copeland concedes he has had to make a rapid adjustment to help bridge the gap. "I've had to adjust since Kieron and Hugh left. There's not a lot different but guarding big guys means it's harder to stay out of foul trouble. Sterling's still looking for a centre but I'll do what it takes to fill in."
