Scott Harrison can cause upset, says Alex Arthur
Harrison will attempt to complete one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history of sport at the age of 35 when he challenges Liam Walsh, 26, for the undefeated Norfolk boxer’s WBO European lightweight title.
The odds appear stacked against Harrison after only two fights in seven and a half years since he defeated Australian Nedal Hussein in the last of his ten WBO featherweight title bouts. But Arthur, who also trained under the watchful eye of Harrison’s father and trainer, Peter at the Phoenix Gym in the east end of Glasgow, is refusing to write off the challenger.

“Do I think that’s possible? Yes, I do, but it depends how much Scott wants it and how much he has left in the tank. His mindset, which was always amazing, will play a big part, and if he is strong mentally and tries to walk through Walsh, I think there’s a real chance of him causing an upset.”
