Csaba Laszlo linked with Lithuanian job

FORMER Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has been interviewed for the vacant post of manager of Lithuania. The Baltic nation sacked Raimondas Zautautas after a poor showing in Scotland’s Euro 2012 group.

Laszlo said: “My aim is to get Lithuania to the European Championships in 2016, which is being extended. I think that is a realistic target and I am negotiating for more than just the two-year deal that has been offered.”

A Lithuanian FA statement said: “Csaba Laszlo has been interviewed for the post and there are also a number of other candidates to consider.”
