Milne strikes for Cove

COVE Rangers striker Danny Milne scored the champions' opener in a 1-1 draw with Fraserburgh at the weekend.

The 23-year-old said: "It is very tight at the top of and there are at least four or five teams still in with a genuine chance of the title."

Clachnacuddin comfortably beat Fort William 3-0 with top scorer Gordie Morrison striking first with a 25-yard free-kick into the top corner after 39 minutes. Michael Finnis netted from the spot after 70 minutes and Blair Lawrie added a third.

In the only other game, Lossiemouth sprang a shock in the Moray derby, claiming only their fifth win of the season with a 2-0 win over Forres Mechanics courtesy of goals from Ross Archibald and Dan Smith.
