News this week that Terry Butcher and Maurice Malpas have extended their contracts until 2014 was generally accepted by the fans.

Terry has a long-term plan for ICT and it’s encouraging that the club are willing to commit to that by offering these extensions.

Having been hit by the worst injury crisis in our short history it is still clear to see the commitment of the club and the players. Although we sit at the foot of the table performances have, generally, been good. For the want of that cutting edge in front of goal it could be very different. It’s not been the most pleasant of rides so far but things can only continue to improve. This is as a sign that the club have confidence in it’s long-term aspirations and hopefully that will continue. With the injury list set to ease the trend is onwards and upwards.
